Ahead of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, PrintWithMe is now offering eligible Texas voters free printouts of voting documents as part of their new #VoteWithMe campaign.

PrintWithMe announced today that it is offering eligible voters in Texas to print their voting documents for the 2020 U.S. presidential election for free at PrintWithMe printer stations located throughout Texas, including Houston, Dallas, and Austin.

All eligible Texas voters will now be able to print up to two pages of their voting documents for free, including applications for ballot by mail and voter registration forms, as part of the company’s new #VoteWithMe campaign.

This #VoteWithMe campaign aims to make it easier for Texas voters, many of whom do not own their own printers, to register to vote and/or mail-in their requests for absentee ballots during COVID-19.

“We recently found out that for votes to be safely counted in Texas, voters may have to first print out and then mail in their registration forms and/or absentee ballot,” said Jonathan Treble, founder and CEO of PrintWithMe. “We want to make sure that access to printing isn’t going to get in the way of our Texas users exercising their right to vote.”

PrintWithMe is also engaging multifamily apartment communities in Texas to ensure that their residents can also utilize their PrintWithMe amenity to print voting documents for free. Joe Melton, Vice President of Marketing at The Morgan Group, a multifamily housing developer headquartered in Houston, expressed excitement about the #VoteWithMe initiative.

“We are very happy that PrintWithMe is allowing our residents to print their voter registration paperwork free of charge,” said Melton. “These are secure printers, and it helps to make sure eligible voters don’t miss the opportunity to cast their vote this election season.”

To enjoy free printing, Texas voters will need to complete three steps: 1) fill out voting forms electronically, 2) email completed files to any PrintWithMe printer in Texas, and 3) email their auto-generated Order Number to voterpromo@printwithme.com. PrintWithMe will then reply via email with a promo code enabling two free page printouts.

Detailed printing instructions and all printer locations can be found on their website here.

PrintWithMe ensures that all user documents are securely encrypted and immediately deleted after printing. Plus, PrintWithMe printers are all contactless, meaning that users will not have to touch the printer in order to print out voting documents.

“We take our user’s privacy and safety very seriously,” said Treble.

While the #VoteWithMe free printing offer will last until the U.S. Election Day on November 3rd, 2020, the last day to apply for a ballot by mail in Texas is on October 23rd, 2020. Absentee ballot applications in Texas must be received by then in order to be considered.
